As part of our rapid tooling services, we use CNC machining centers to produce milled aluminum inserts for prototype samples and injection molding tools. The surface finish of the plastic parts can be selected almost freely. In addition to polished surfaces for optical applications, patterns, engravings, and textures can also be produced for touch-friendly areas. Our rapid tooling provides you with injection molded parts that are ready for testing in all common series materials for pre-series or small series production and often closes the gap before large series tooling. We can produce both simple tools with manual removal and fully automatic tools.
In the area of tool design and NC programming, we use the CAD-CAM system from Cimatron at three workstations. We use Hermle C 40U, C 42U, and C400 milling machines for 5-axis machining and a Deckel Maho DMC 1035V milling machine for 3-axis machining.
