Our trained model makers use their expertise and vacuum casting molding techniques to turn your ideas into models and prototypes that are ready for testing. We offer a range of post-processing techniques to optimize the visual and functional properties of the generatively manufactured parts for their respective applications. Prototypes are usually post-processed manually. The range of services includes surface finishing by grinding, polishing, coloring, priming, painting, labeling, as well as manual adjustment and complete assembly of your components. We determine the level of detail together with you. Our vacuum casting enables you to reproduce master models very quickly and cost-effectively. The master model is molded in silicone and then cast with polyurethane prototype resins.

We offer you a wide range of options for manual prototype post-processing:

  • Coloring in a water bath with dissolved color particles (SLA and SLS possible)
  • 2K paint preparation with spray filler and primer in various colors
  • 2K painting of textured, matte, and high-gloss surfaces
  • Precise color mixing according to RAL shades with our Standox mixing system
  • Transparent coating
  • Translucent coating
  • Manual polishing of painted surfaces and transparent SLA/PolyJet components
  • Assembly using a wide variety of joining techniques

Additively manufactured spreader head

The additively manufactured spreading head with integrated bellows is used to spread contact lens blisters. The transfer process is carried out by a delta robot. The SLS material PA2200 in particular enables the production of thin-walled structures that are sufficiently elastic to compensate for the movement of the spreading head.

purmundus ist eine eingetragene Designmarke der cirp und bietet ein innovatives Portfolio an 3D-gedruckten Tisch- und Stehleuchten. Das Lagerkreuz ist dabei als technisches Herzstück im Sockel der Designleuchte verbaut und dient neben der Befestigung zum Kohlefaserstab und der Platinenhalterung als Druckmechanismus für den An- bzw. Ausschalter.
